This Polyvore set was pretty much an excuse for me to imagine I owned these AMAZIINNGG Isabel Marant sandals, and play with how I would style them if I ever was so lucky. I imagine this set to be the perfect Coachella outfit; practical enough to get you through the day but stylish enough to get you noticed (for the right reasons!)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Marant will bring out a new version of these incredible shoes in next summer's collection, and until then I will anxiously save my pennies and keep my fingers crossed that I will own them soon enough x

Billini Shoes Spring / Summer 13 Campaign Shoot

Last week I was fortunate enough to spend a day with the lovely Billini team on the amazing set of their SS13 campaign shoot. Titled 'Hola Mexico', the collection captures the passion and vibrancy of Mexican culture, and offers a style perfect for every occasion you're likely to face in the warmer months ahead.

Hola Mexico provides a chic and effortless assortment of styles, from beautiful embellished flats to suede wedges and elegant, street-ready heels. With a colour palette including vibrant shades of burnt orange, citrus and turquoise, along with tan, gold, white and other neutrals, there is not only a style but also a colour to suit every possibly event, and leave you feeling as though you've just returned from a thrilling Mexican vacation.

Worthy of special note in the collection is the inclusion of Billini's first leather shoe, the 'Lorna'. This gorgeous shoe sports a wooden clog-style sole, with leather ankle strap and lattice detailing across the toes. Definitely one to look out for, and a style I will be sure to be sporting when summer comes around!

Best of Resort 14

Two very different collections from the Resort 14 season, which stole my heart for entirely different reasons.

BARBARA BUI

Barbara Bui is a designer I regret to admit I hadn't heard of before this season, but I was totally blown away by her resort collection. Stepping away from the traditional resort expectations, Bui has presented a bold and clean-cut range centralised around tailored & structured pieces and an incredible vibrant tropical bird graphic. 

I've always been a fan of classic sophistication and this collection provides that, with the added elements of edgy silhouettes and masculine fabric choices in leather and denim. The colour palatte is predominantly monochrome, allowing the garment styles to be the heroes.
