Wearing: Blazer by Chicabooti, Stripe Tee by Bassike (via Designer Forum), 'Lovers' Denim Shorts by One Teaspoon ($50 via online sale), Canvas Espadrilles by Chanel, 'Lexington' Watch by Michael Kors (via David Jones)
Ask any girl in Australia what pieces will be on high-rotation in their summer wardrobe, and I guarantee either a stripe tee and / or denim shorts will be on the list (and knowing the most of us; they will probably the pieces we nearly live in through the warmer months). As we all know, these pieces are the height of 'casual cool'; which pretty much gives them the right to be worn anywhere, any time, to just about any occasion or event you could imagine; thanks to personalities like Tash & Elle of 'They All Hate Us'.
Keeping along the lines of the TAHU girls, I don't know about you; but I definitely cannot afford a Balmain blazer (as much as I would like to!) I think I purchased this blazer for all of $15 about six years ago, and its a piece that continues to surface in my trans-seasonal outfits. The relaxed boyfriend fit and double breasted buttons balance it perfectly between casual and chic, and the camel colour has (thankfully!) stayed in style while other shades have come and gone. It also proves that you don't have to spend an absolute fortune to find a piece you will love for years.
One Teaspoon remains on top of the denim pack with their forever-growing range of styles, colours & fits that leaves every girl feeling like there was a pair designed especially for them. I've been obsessing over the white Lovers since seeing a girl wearing them about a year ago; the pair she was wearing had awesome textured white leather back pockets, but this standard pair are pretty amazing too. Buying your standard size gives them a relaxed boyfriend fit, or buying a couple of sizes down allows you to wear them high-waisted.

Lastly....the Chanel. I admit the price tag is high for what they are; but these shoes are a purchase I haven't regretted once. Espadrilles are this Vans of this summer; the perfect casual shoe for any daytime activity that go with absolutely everything. I found that I needed to size up as my usual size were slightly too small, but if you're considering making the purchase I would definitely suggest trying them on first to make sure you get the size that's right for you.
