Wearing 'Maverick' playsuit by Ministry of Style, 'Toucan' sandals by Bared Footwear, 'Bohemian Bardot' ring in kingstone / gold by Samantha Wills (via St Frock), 'double pearl' bracelet by All Stars Glitter, 'Aztec' string friendship bracelet by Carly Paiker, 'Lexington' watch by Michael Kors
I've expressed in the past my love for playsuits, and its turning out to be a lasting affair. They're especially great when I'm having a day where I really can't be bothered picking this to match that; but still want an outfit that looks beautiful & resolved.
Ministry of Style is a label that is continually coming out with amazing designs, and this playsuit is no exception to that trend. The fitted shape together with the bright floral-overlayed-python print mean its a piece that's sure to have you instantly feeling good about yourself (or at least that's how I feel wearing it!) The legs are slightly fluted, meaning it gives your body the illusion of an hourglass shape. For girls like me who have a pretty straight up-and-down androgynous figure this is a godsend - anything that creates shape without effort should be applauded (if you haven't already gathered; I'm also inherently lazy haha).
Bared Footwear are another Aussie label doing amazing things. Their range of sandals, heels and casual shoes are all designed by a podiatrist, with comfort and support being the most important aspects of their designs. The best part is you can have all this without having to sacrifice the appearance; their designs are amazingly on-trend and are oozing all of the same styling you can find in other brands, which don't offer the same practical benefits. The pair I'm wearing are also available in the most ridiculously amazing turquoise and fuchsia shades (as well as everyone's staple black), and I can't even begin to explain how much trouble I had deciding on which ones to buy. In the end I opted for the terracotta because they're the most practical & versatile; but I would love to also eventually own the fuchsia (aaannnddd probably the turquoise too haha).
