To me, summer means being a lot more experimental and bold with colours, prints and fabric combinations when putting together outfits. The warmer weather means the wardrobe brightens up, and in general we're a lot more open to a brighter and more fun colour palette.
These shorts by Mink Pink are the essence of summer. They're an amazing shape, have an incredible print (floral AND animal - could there actually be anything better?!) and have a super cute slightly scalloped hem. The elastic waist means they're also super comfortable, perfect for relaxing at the beach, at home, on holidays or at a festival...literally anywhere you could end up this summer! This Mink Pink collection is all about awesome party vibes, and these shorts capture and express everything that entails.
As has been a recurring trend in my recent posts, I've again opted for a cropped top in this outfit. The warmer summer temps and inevitable beach trips means lace pieces like this have been popping up everywhere, and are the perfect throw-on piece for covering a bikini or triangle bra. I'm not one to shy away from a vibrant detail so have worn a hot pink Victoria's Secret PINK bralette underneath, but this look would also work with a neutral coloured piece or even another relative print.
Lastly but definitely not least are these incredible clog sandals from Billini.
