How to Wear: The White Jean #3: Neutural

Wearing: Steele leather vest (from The Lofft sale, $40), Pink Stitch 'Shaka' cami, Bec & Bridge jeans, Tony Bianco metal capped heels (on sale, $30), Forever New necklace, Karen Walker 'Super Duper' sunglasses, Bardot perspex clutch (inside: Carly Paiker bracelet, Chanel 'Coco Mademoiselle' perfume, Maybelline gloss)

One way to dress with instant class is a white on white outfit with neutural accents. If you're a bit cautious of wearing all white then adding an item in a second colour can help to 'tone down' the look, and maintain the chic appearance without making such a statement.

This leather vest by Melbourne label Steele is incredible, and I was so thrilled to purchase it recently for such a tiny sum. The bottom section can be zipped off to create a cropped version but I'm currently loving the full length; with the current boyfriend trend this is one way to tackle the look whilst still maintaining a feminine appearance. The leather fabrication adds a bit of luxe to the look, and mixing fabrications is always a good idea if you're not wearing lot of print or colour (this adds subtle interest - try to always wear at least three different fabrics in a styled look).

As I said in my previous White Jean post I think it's always a great idea to match your shoes to your outfit, and in this look the nude suede pumps tone perfectly with the vest. The gold metal caps also match the gold zips - perfect combo! I had been dying for metal-capped points for months, and was lucky enough to come across these bargains in a recent trip to Melborune (where I also purchased the vest - so it really was a great shopping trip for me!) I love Tony Bianco so it really was a no brainer; I had to have them.
