When you think of Aussie mega babes making a big impact internationally, several names come to mind. Miranda Kerr, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Hart (just to name a few!) and of course, Havana Brown. Between her successful DJing career and branch out as a solo artist, its undeniable that Havana is one of our biggest exports.
Recently in collaboration with Suglass Hut, Havana hosted an exclusive party for a group of her friends where she was given the 'Key to the Store', and complete access to all of their products. Her make up and hair for the night were done by the incredible Max May, who created a signature look which perfectly suited Havana and also the Sunglass Hut persona.
On describing how he created and achieved Havana's beauty look for the event, Max May said he wanted to stick to Havana's personal style; which is very much centralised around a warm, golden bronze colour palette. This was also perfect for depicting the Sunglass Hut style and image. Keeping the sunglasses as the key focus, May gave Havana an understated nude lip and hair full of volume with a centre part, which frames the face and keeps the sunglasses centre of attention.
For beauty, he used Charlotte Tilbury's Film Star Bronze and Illuminate for contouring and highlighting, L'Oreal Paris Brow Professional Pencil (in light brown), MAC Clear Brow Set for brows, and MAC 'Shy Girl' lipstick; one of Havana's personal favourites.
When asked about his top make up tips for wearing sunglasses through summer, May commented that the most important things are having well-defined brows and an even, naturally glowing complexion. To achieve this, he recommended mixing a warm-toned luminiser such as Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Perfector in 'Moonstone' with your foundation, and blending into the skin with your fingertips to achieve a beautiful summer glow.
