Tropical Playdate

Wearing 'Be Mine' playsuit (via Cupcake Fashion), Windsor Smith 'Mara' patent heels, PeepToe bag and necklace, Michael Kors 'Lexington' watch, Carly Paiker 'Aztec String Friendship' bracelet

Fun, flirty, floral...the list could go on; but in short this playsuit ticks all the right boxes. Contrary to my last playsuit outfit post which featured a loose and flowing boho rendition of the style (here), this beautiful fitted version is a feminine and playful piece which would be just as well suited to a cute spring garden party as to a tropical vacation (such as I was on when photographing this look!)

I will always stick by my love of playsuits, quite simply because they are so easy to style and wear. There's none of the stress of complementing your colours / fabrics / proportions; just one piece and you're ready to go. You can create a totally different look through the accessories you choose to wear, and there's not many pieces you couldn't style back with a playsuit to create a unique look (just because you're not styling a top and a bottom doesn't mean you're limited in your options!)

These days we really are spoilt for choice. The humble playsuit is available in so many amazing silhouettes, fabrics and colours / prints that it really is possible to find a style to suit a multitude of different occasions. Cupcake Fashion where this particular style is from have a huge selection of playsuits currently available, and you can view their whole range here.
