The best thing about working for a fashion label is being surrounded by incredible clothes every day, and I am incredibly lucky to be working at August Street, the new kid on the block of edgy, cool Australian fashion. The above is a selection of my favourite pieces from their Autumn '13 collection "Total Eclipse", which is arriving in stores now (including David Jones).
Particular items to note are the perforated leatherette story, I loovvee the shorts (Agnes), and the bomber jacket (Addison), which is unbelievably warm and so comfy. The neon green lining fabric is a unique addition, adding a little extra something to the story and standing out from all the other leather/ette pieces currently available from other labels. The prints are to die for; August Street uses all exclusive prints so you don't have to worry about some cheap knock-off company producing a rip-off style or item with the same print.
If you hadn't heard of August Street before this then it's definitely a label you should keep an eye out for (including following on instagram @auguststreet), and if you have heard of it be ready to be thrilled at what the new season holds.
