Wearing: Lack of Color 'Miami Mint' Fedora, Finder's Keepers 'You Sent Me' T-Shirt Dress, Windsor Smith 'Milan' Suede Heels (on sale, $35.95), PeepToe Patent Clutch (from warehouse sale, $19)
I love colour, and a good floral print. I don't consider myself super girly but a cute print like the one on this Finder's Keepers beauty teamed with the simple tee-dress shape was too good to resist. The shift-shape of the dress means it isn't too formal, and can easily be worn as a day piece without looking like you got lost on the way to the races or a nightclub. I couldn't go past wearing it with my Lack of Color hat and Windsor Smith heels, both which I purchased a few weeks ago with the intention of styling with a different look, but worked so perfectly in this outfit, bringing out the minty tones in the dress.
It's no secret that I love a good bargain, and can justify any purchase if the item is on sale. It's a bit of a bad habit when it has resulted in my built-in wardrobe actually collapsing...but hey, these kind of deals only come around once, right? This PeepToe clutch was an impulse buy at one of their infamous warehouse sales a few years ago; but since then I have got a lot of use out of it as a bright statement to accompany basic black outfits. Again, it worked way too well with this combo to not include it, accentuating the pink in the dress print and complementing the mint accessories.
