Some pieces are so perfect you can't help but to just sit and stare at them speechless, which is exactly how I felt on opening the parcel containing this incredible dress, shoes and clutch courtesy of Tony Bianco.
I was lucky enough recently to win an amazing competition run by TB in collaboration with Alex Perry on Instagram, of which the prize was this incredible ensemble. I've been so excited to feature it on my blog as I knew it be an amazing look and a total crowd pleaser!
Both the shoes and the dress are amazing statement pieces, but the subtle colouring means that they still work so well as an outfit. This stunning dress by Alex Perry is made of an incredibly thin neoprene fabric, and features beautifully structural detailing. The shape with strong box pleats through the waist follows the natural female curves, and the back has an amazing fine mesh racer back through the shoulders. The pastel pink zip is a beautifully subtle contrast but adds interest to the design.
Lace-up heels are one of the biggest trends in footwear right now, and with amazing styles like these by Tony Bianco it's easy to see why! They're incredibly simple to dress up or down, and look just as great with boyfriend jeans or denim shorts as with a playful party dress like this. The pastel pink colour of these ties in perfectly with the exposed zip fabric of the dress, and also complements the cream tone of the dress overall. With heels like this toning to suit the colours in your outfit can be a good idea, as it reduces the risk of them overpowering the whole look. Unless of course you want them to make them the main statement, in which case the bolder the better!
