Sometimes you just want to throw on something super easy; and not have to worry about coordinating or colour / print matching or anything else we stress about on a day-to-day basis when trying to pick an outfit.
I call these the "playsuit days".
A well-shaped playsuit can be the perfect piece to express style, without over-thinking and spending ages trying to match this with that. Teaming with a few accessories to give your outfit direction is all that you really need for an effortless look that expresses your personal style, without sending you crazy.
This playsuit is from a great online boutique I discovered a few months ago called Style Closet. They stock some amazing labels including Talulah, Ringuet, Toi et Moi and Shona Joy (just to name a few!) They're in the middle of a huge make-over at the moment, so head to the site for some incredible bargains, and keep an eye out for an exciting new look and new stock coming very soon!
The moment I saw this playsuit I fell in love. The shape is so fantastic - being a girl who wasn't genetically blessed in the bust department I like to look for pieces which flatter my figure, and this jumpsuit was absolutely perfect. The angled sweetheart neckline gives the illusion of shape, and the super-low v back is something girls like me (who don't 'need' to wear bras) can get away with quite easily. The hem of the shorts curves up at the outer leg which is another feature I love, and all-round they are an amazing piece with numerous flattering design details.
I've teamed this look with some beautiful jewellery pieces from the Samantha Wills x The McGrath Foundation collaboration collection. One hundred percent of the proceeds from each of these bracelet stacks and necklaces sold goes directly to The McGrath Foundation, to aid in their amazing work supporting the breast care nurses here in Australia. With Christmas fast approaching, these are stunning gift ideas for your loved ones (or yourself), which are supporting an incredible cause.
These Tony Bianco lace-up heels are perfection. The soft blush colour complements the pattern of the jumpsuit, and unlike black doesn't give the outfit a 'heavy' feel. Finishing with a Lack of Color fedora completes the look, and gives it a real 'Coachella' overall feel - if I was ever to attend the infamous festival this is the kind of outfit you would find me wearing!
