I love loose-fitting knit sweaters - they're one of my favourite things about winter. Great for layering and finishing off any outfit, the perfect knit will work with just about anything in your winter wardrobe to create a cute & cosy look.

Team an oversized knit with your favourite boyfriend jeans and white sneakers for a street-ready look, a long-line knit with leggings and OTK boots for a relaxed daywear look, or a cropped knit with a floaty mini skirt or dress for a flirty date look.

The look I've worn in this outfit post is perfect for in-between, trans-seasonal weather. Swap the boots for your favourite pair for sneakers and it becomes a super easy-to-wear day look, or with over the knee boots or your favourite heels you could wear it for a night out. Leather jackets and denim work so well with soft cosy knits because of the juxtaposition of the materials; creating an edgy look with instant street cred.

I love this white knit because it is so versatile and can easily be paired back with any outfit, but soft blush pinks, mustard yellows and light greys are some of my other favourite tones to brighten a winter outfit.
