make any outfit look fresh and are great for in-between weather where
its not quite warm enough for something shorter, and add instant class to any outfit.

I have been dying to do this post for so long, just hanging out for the perfect weather to shoot. Finally Sydney delivered! I was inspired by quintessential nautical connotations, the classic French Riviera women and Rachel Zoe's Resort '14 collection (which I did an earlier blog post on, here).
White jeans are perfect with a white blazer - simple, easy, and you've got relaxed class covered. This one I designed & made for my college graduate collection last year, and is made of the most amazing 100% silk fabric. I particularly love the angled pockets and panels, which you can see best in the third image. Try mixing proportions - an oversized boyfriend blazer looks great with a pair of skinny jeans, and boyfriend jeans are great teamed with a streamline, fitted blazer.
The stripe tee is another item at the top of the summer must-have list, and works with just about anything you could pair it with. The perfect piece for a print-on-print outfit, or for adding detail to something plainer. This is my third Bec & Bridge stripe tee from the past couple of seasons, and I doubt it will be my last. They are constructed of an amazing lightweight linen blend and are cut in the most flattering shape, and to anyone who doesn't yet own at least one I would say buy now before they sell out (again)!
The perspex clutch has definitely been one of the top 'it-bag's of this year. Perfect for making a statement - and letting the accessories inside be admired. This one from Bardot also came with a black and white striped fabric insert pouch, a great addition to this outfit and also great if there are things you want in the clutch but not on display (eg. coins, credit cards..you get the idea).
Tan-coloured accessories are perfect for summer. I bought these heels yeaarrss ago, an impulse buy I never regretted once since. I used to wear them out every weekend, and even after hours of dancing away I never came home with sore feet! I was so in love. They tie in with the colour of my straw fedora (another impulse buy from years ago) and together are the perfect summer combo. Two items that will forever remind me of summer's past x
